Jill joins us as our first female guest. We run over some local news topics and then finally get into the Tinder experiment. Jill has never had Tinder before, so we got her setup, to try and show guys what they’re up against. We also chat about if it’s appropriate to send a girl a drink who’s sitting with another guy. It happened! Right out of Seinfeld.
Brandon returns for his second guest appearance on the show. We talk about another RNC crackdown on distracted driving and discuss being pulled over. Joel is in and out of the show because of some suspect bad pizza. We get into some serious Tinder chat after Brandon finally succeeded in getting a date from it. City councillor is in the news for alleged sexual harassment, we discuss how, as usual, internet commenters jump to conclusions without any facts. Chat about the local breweries deal to sell beer at convenience stores, and is it at risk? Thanks for tuning in!
Joel & Nick are joined by Brandon for the first ever three-person podcast. Brandon works in the restaurant biz and is an aspiring model/actor. We talk lots about bars, women, drinks & party stories. Joel is upset that he drank alone at a bar and the bartenders didn’t talk to him. Joel doesn’t know how pockets work. Brandon swipes on Tinder live on the show and asks a girl to listen to the podcast. We anxiously await her response and Brandon spends sometime selling himself incase she is listening. Do you send nudes? Nick is paranoid about spy cameras in hotel/airbnb rooms.. Remember the old days of watching & downloading porn? But not as old as magazines.. We come up with a new way to promote the show, then Brandon takes over and ends the episode.
Contains explicit content.
Joel & Nick talk about beer (surprise), the shame in ordering water at a bar, and Joel shares an odd secret that Nick thinks is gross. Quick chat about Harrison Ford & the Ice Caps. Moving onto an anonymous critical letter about George Street being a “ghost town” and bars shutting down. We try to understand a local Tinder video about d**k pics and why it’s full of lies. Thieves keep dangerously breaking into electricity substations stealing copper, maybe Newfoundland Power needs to get more serious to tackle the issue! Joel has some interesting ideas.. Why aren’t younger people playing lottery tickets? Joel & Nick agree, don’t drive on the highways. Joel can’t figure out why Nick gets cheaper haircuts from the same place. Finally, Nick does not share Joel’s source of motivation for hitting the gym. The show ends as Joel’s beer is beyond empty.
